Football Facilities
Recently completed is the Trienens Center, a new, full-scale multipurpose
indoor practice facility. In addition, improvements to existing indoor
practice areas were also made. Behind the stadium are two full-length grass
practice fields that the Wildcats use during preseason workouts and for
upcoming contests. Football training table, pre and postgame luncheons and
receptions are served in the N Club Room, located inside McGaw Hall and
overlooking Ryan Field. The N Club facility features plush carpeting, an
impressive trophy case and seating for up to 200 people. Three million
dollars plus. That's just another measure of the commitment to Northwestern
football.

The John C. Nicolet Football Center, dedicated prior to the
Homecoming contest against Wisconsin on October 22, 1988, is the
headquarters for the football coaching staff and players. The
state-of-the-art complex, located adjacent to Ryan Field, includes a
5,000-square foot weight room featuring the latest conditioning and
strength equipment, a 125-seat auditorium for team gatherings and film
viewing, two spacious meeting areas that can be partitioned to create six
separate rooms for position coaches' chalktalks, and offices for Wildcat coaching staff
and recruiting and video services personnel. The proximity to the new locker rooms, sport medicine
and equipment room facility makes it ideal for Wildcat football personnel.
