Wildcats Finish 10th at Big Ten Championships

Final Stats

COLUMBUS, Ohio-- Northwestern finished 10th place at the Big Ten Championships on Sunday with a score of 288, which was just behind Indiana's 280 at the Ohio State Golf Course.

Individually, junior Allison King (Potomac, Md./Winston Churchill) finished the highest for the Wildcats, followed by Paulina Garcia (Streamwood, Ill/Streamwood), Celia Franklin (Wilmette, Ill./New Trier) and Britta Helwig (Chicago, Ill./Luther North).

Marcellee Fullwood (Houston, Texas/Cypress Falls) followed the pack with Marie Grabinski (Carmel, Ind./Carmel) and Madeline Rozwat (Hillsborough, Calif./Crystal Springs Uplands).

Minnesota won the Championship barely edging out Michigan State by one point for the title. Michigan finished in third place.

The 10th place finish was the 'Cats highest in three seasons. The Midwest Regional Finals are next up for NU, which are Nov. 10 in Peoria, Ill.
