EVANSTON, Ill. - Margie Fitzpatrick, Northwestern's volleyball coach from 1994-96, died early Sunday morning after a battle with brain cancer. She was 38 years old.

Fitzpatrick leaves behind her husband, Mike, and three young children.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 8, from 10 a.m. to noon at St. Albert's Church in Sun Prairie, Wis., with the funeral mass to follow at noon.
