EVANSTON, Ill.-- Stacey Lee (Old Westbury, N.Y./Wheatley) signed with Northwestern's women's tennis team this week as the sole recruit coming into the program next season.

Lee is currently the 15th-ranked player in the UTSA National Under-18 player rankings. She is also ranked 16th on tennisrecruiting.net.

"We are thrilled to have a player of Stacey's caliber join our program next fall," head coach Claire Pollard said. "We have always been impressed with her commitment to tennis and she is only going to get better in college."

This past summer, Lee was part of the East Region team that won the U-18 Fed Cup Junior Championships this summer.

"Stacey has the academic, athletic and family background to succeed and thrive at Northwestern and we can't wait for her to join us."
