EVANSTON, Ill. -- Game dates and times have been set for Northwestern's NCAA Tournament Super Regional matchup against South Carolina. The Wildcats will host the first game of the best two-of-three series at 3 p.m. CT Friday, May 25, at Sharon J. Drysdale Field. Game two is set for 1 p.m. CT Saturday, May 26, with the if-necessary game scheduled to begin immediately afterwards on Saturday.

The winner of the series will earn one of eight spots at the 2007 Women's College World Series.

Second-seeded Northwestern earned a trip to the Super Regional round by winning the Evanston Regional with a 3-0 record. South Carolina also hosted a regional, defeating No. 15 seed N.C. State in its first game before coming out of the loser's bracket to defeat Oregon twice on championship Sunday to advance.

Television elected not to pick up the Evanston Super Regional, but Northwestern will offer free streaming video of all games at NUsports.com. Continue to check NUsports.com for further updates on the Super Regional as they become available.
