EVANSTON, Ill. -- Join Northwestern Softball on May 3, 2008, for the PURPLE AUCTION to be held following the Wildcats' home game against Michigan State in Welsh-Ryan Arena!

The PURPLE AUCTION, with great food, drinks and outstanding auction items, is our second annual event celebrating Northwestern Softball. This event will bring together current players, former players, stakeholders, friends and family of our program to celebrate the rich tradition and exciting future of Northwestern Softball.

The day begins with fantastic NUSB action during a 1 p.m. game against Big Ten foe Michigan State at Sharon J. Drysdale Field. Then, at 3:30 p.m., come inside Welsh-Ryan Arena for dinner and a silent auction. Northwester senior Darcy Sengewald will be honored during the festivities.

Admission to the ballpark is free for the game, and the dinner is $50 per person ($20 for children 16 & under).
