EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern heads to the Lone Star state to compete in the 15th annual Texas A&M "Mo"morial Tournament March 7-9 in Bryan, Texas.

Played at Traditions Golf Course, the tournament traditionally draws some of the top programs throughout the South and Midwest, and this year's event is no different. Four programs are in the Golfweek/Sagarin ranking's top-25, including Denver (No. 13), Kent State (No. 17), Michigan State (No. 20) and the host Aggies (No. 21). The rest of the field is comprised of Baylor (No. 83), Iowa State (No. 50), Mississippi (No. 60), Missouri (No. 41), Nebraska (No. 45), Princeton (No. 78), SMU (No. 64), TCU (No. 30), Tulsa (No. 33) and UTEP (No. 157).

The Wildcats are coming off a 13th-place finish at the Central District Invitational in Parrish, Fla., Feb. 19. Freshman Rebecca Lederhausen (Hinsdale, Ill./Hinsdale Central) highlighted the tournament for the 'Cats by sinking a hole-in-one in the final round to help her to an 18th-place finish. The ace was only the third in NU golf history.

Junior Jennifer Hong (Windmere, Fla./The First Academy) and senior Katie Trachok (Pittsburgh, Pa./Upper St. Claire) also posted top-50 finishes for Northwestern, placing 34th and 50th, respectively.

Along with Lederhausen, Hong and Trachok, senior Justina Yu (Las Vegas, Nev./Bishop Gorman) and freshman Kelsey Lindenschmidt (West Chester, Ohio/Ursuline Academy) are expected to compete. Live scoring for the tournament is available at golfstat.com.
