BRYAN, Texas -- Northwestern came up short in its quest for the program's second trip to the NCAA National Championships, finishing 10th at the NCAA Central Regional Championships, which were held at Texas A&M's Traditions Club. Pepperdine, Florida, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, Kent State and Nebraska finished a respective three through eight and will join the Trojans and Blue Devils in Columbus. Michigan State finished in ninth place, two strokes in front of the Wildcats, who were making their sixth NCAA tournament appearance in the last seven years.
