URBANA, Ill. -- Third-round play at the Big Ten Women's Golf Championships was suspended Saturday afternoon due to heavy and consistent rain.

The teams were able to tee off at 8 a.m. this morning and everyone finished nine holes before they were taken off the course around 11 a.m. Tentatively, the teams will resume the third round Sunday morning and then follow with the final round.

Tee times for Sunday will be set later Saturday evening, pending the weather forecast.

After two rounds, the Wildcats were in a sixth-place tie with Illinois, 20 strokes behind first-place Ohio State.
