EVANSTON, Ill. -- Senior Candice Cooper (Winnetka, Ill./New Trier) has been named a National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA)/STX second-team All-American in addition to picking up third-team All-America honors from womensfieldhockey.com.

Cooper's 21 goals and 46 points this year were both third-best single-season totals in Northwestern history. She finished her Northwestern career ranked eighth all-time in scoring with 90 points.

Cooper was also a first-team NFHCA All-West Region and second-team All-Big Ten selection this year. She earned Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week honors for scoring eight goals in a three-match stretch, including back-to-back hat tricks against Ohio and Fairfield.

She becomes Northwestern's first NFHCA/STX All-America selection since 1996 and the Wildcats' first second-team selection since 1995.
