EVANSTON, Ill. - The Big Ten announced its all-conference teams for field hockey today, and Northwestern senior defender Lindsey Millard (St. Louis, Mo./Mary Institute CD) was among those selected. Millard was named to the second team.

One of NU's defensive leaders this season, Millard started every game at her backfield position but managed to get forward enough to find the back of the net four times, good for second on the team. Among those four goals are three game-winners (New Hampshire, SW Missouri State and Providence). Millard also recorded three assists as part of NU's offensive penalty corner team.

Millard and her teammates are playing Penn State this afternoon in the first round of the Big Ten Tournament in Columbus, Ohio. The Wildcats entered the tourney with a 6-12 overall record, including a 1-5 mark in the Big Ten.
