Northwestern won five of six Saturday at the Ohio State Duals. The Wildcats picked up four conference wins against Case Western Reserve, Lawrence, Chicago and Cleveland State, and earned a nonconference win versus Florida. The lone loss of the day, NU's first conference loss, came against No. 4 Ohio State. Northwestern is 16-3 on the season, including a 10-1 Midwest Collegiate Conference mark.

The seventh-ranked 'Cats had little difficulty winning, with the exception of the Florida and Ohio State duals. NU slipped by UF 15-12 and lost to OSU 16-11.

"We sat some of our starters against Florida," said NU head coach Laurie Schiller. "Everybody got a chance to fence. And if we could have gotten another touch or two here and there against Ohio State, we could have won."

Northwestern allowed 11 total points against Case Western Reserve, Cleveland State, Chicago and Lawrence.

The Wildcats are back in action Feb. 1-2 at the Notre Dame Duals.
