The Welsh-Ryan Arena Locker Room project, part of the Athletics Initiative, is currently under construction and is scheduled to be finished in the fall.

The complete remodeling includes two 1,400 square-foot locker room areas, theater-style classrooms for team meetings, two player lounges with flat panel TV's, wireless internet and new officials locker rooms.

The project is phase one of a plan that will someday relocate the men's and women's basketball offices to a new second floor above the new locker rooms, overlooking the practice court.
