EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern junior guard Nadia Bibbs (Chicago, Ill./Hillcrest/Boston University) has been selected to play for the Mexican National Team in international competition this summer. The first tournament, Centrobasket--held June 24-29 in Mexico--features teams from Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.

Bibbs and her teammates will then travel to Cartagena de Indias, Colombia to compete in the Central American Games from July 15-22. Teams from 32 nations will participate in the games, held once every four years.

Training sessions leading up to both tournaments will be held at the Mexican Olympic Sports Complex in Mexico City.
