Sophomore Mike Alexandrov earned two top-three finishes in the breaststroke events at the NCAA Championships.

Freshman David Kormushoff swam the anchor leg for all four of NU's relays.

Sophomore Matt Grevers swims the 100 backstroke.

Sophomore Matt Grevers held off Florida's Olympian Ryan Lochte by .03 seconds to win the 100 backstroke NCAA Championship.

Grevers is Northwestern's first individual NCAA champion in any sport since Luke Donald won the men's golf title in 1999.

Grevers became Northwestern's first individual champion since Dave Pemberton won the 200 backstroke in 1958.
