Dec. 13, 2005

EVANSTON, Ill. -- Senior Brad Napper (Dallas, Texas/Jesuit College Prep) has been named a second-team All-Great Lakes Region selection by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA), while junior Brad North (The Woodlands, Texas/The Woodlands) has earned third-team honors.

Napper earns his second-consecutive All-Region selection after scoring four points on two goals and leading the Wildcat defense to six shutouts this season.

Napper started 77 matches during his Northwestern career. A key contributor since his freshman season, Napper finished his career as the Big Ten's all-time leader in goals scored by a defensive player with 13.

North garners his first All-Region accolade after netting a team-high eight goals this season. North finished the season ranked third in the Big Ten in goals and goal per game, while moving up to eighth on NU's all-time points list with 43.
