KENOSHA, Wis. - After reporting to campus on Tuesday, Aug. 5 and holding its annual Media Day on Aug. 7, Northwestern opened its preseason camp in Kenosha, Wis., today. The Wildcats opened 'Camp Kenosha' with a spirited three-hour practice on the University of Wisconsin-Parkside's campus.

The temperature at practice time was in the upper 60's with a slight hint of rain throughout the morning.

Practice will run for 12 days with updates and camp photos located on NUsports.com. Click on the 'Camp Kenosha' icon located in the right column on NUsports.com to see Friday Aug. 8 photos.

This is the 11th straight year the Wildcats have held part of their preseason camp on Parkside's campus.

Northwestern returns to Evanston Aug. 20 to prepare for its Aug. 30 opener at Kansas.
