EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern football coach Pat Fitzgerald will be a guest on Wednesday's (July 12) Chicago Tribune Live show which airs from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday on Comcast Sports.

Comcast Sports is channel 37 on Comcast cable and channel 640 on DirecTV.

Fitzgerald was named Northwestern's 29th head football coach last Friday, and succeeds seven-year coach Randy Walker, who died suddenly on June 29. Fitzgerald, one of NU's all-time football greats, had served as a Wildcats' assistant coach since 2001.

Fitzgerald also will appear on the ESPNews "4 Quarters" show at 5:30 p.m. CT Thursday, July 13, and WFLD-TV's "The Final Word" (FOX, Channel 32) at 10 p.m. CT Sunday, July 16.
