EVANSTON, Ill. -- After finishing 7-5 and earning a berth in the 2005 Vitalis Sun Bowl, Northwestern is preparing for another exciting campaign this fall. This year's schedule is highlighted by a visit from defending Big Ten co-champion Ohio State and the 100th all-time meeting with Illinois.

With the spring football season right around the corner, it is time to purchase Wildcat Football season tickets! The 'Cats are 9-3 at home the last two seasons, so take advantage of the discounted season ticket packages so you do not miss any of the Big Ten football action at Ryan Field this fall.

With 18 starters returning, led by national freshman of the year Tyrell Sutton, the 2006 season promises to be another exciting one at Ryan Field.

2006 Ticket Package Prices -- Season Tickets
Regular Reserved -- $180
NU Faculty & Staff -- $144
End Zone (Sections 117-119) -- $116
NU Young Alums -- Class of 2002-06 (Sections 120-121) -- $90
NU Graduate Students (Sections 120-121) -- $90
Family Plan -- 2 adults and three children 17 years and younger (Sections 115-116) -- $360 (An extra child can be added for only $90)

In addition to the discount off the single-game ticket price, Wildcat season ticket holders are invited to the annual Meet the Team Night at Ryan Field, have the option to purchase single-game tickets before they go on sale to the public, can purchase a season-long parking pass and have the opportunity to lease a Wildcat seatback for the entire season.

Plus, everyone who purchases season tickets will automatically be entered to win a party for six people at ESPN Zone in Chicago, as well as a chance to win the Ultimate Wildcat Fan Experience at Ryan Field. For those fans who were not season ticket holders in 2005, the first 300 people to purchase season tickets will receive a $10 game card from ESPN Zone in Chicago, as well as be automatically entered to win a party for six people at ESPN Zone and the Ultimate Wildcat Fan Experience at Ryan Field.

3-Pack Plans: If you cannot commit to a full season ticket, you can still save money and receive better seat locations by purchasing a Wildcat 3-Pack. 3-Pack Plans go on sale May 1!

Pack 1 -- New Hampshire, Purdue, Ohio State -- $100
Pack 2 -- Eastern Michigan, Michigan State, Illinois -- $100
Pack 3 -- Purdue, Michigan State, Illinois -- $120

2006 Single-Game Tickets: Single-game tickets go on sale Monday, July 24!
Eastern Michigan and New Hampshire: $30 for sideline seats $20 for end zone seats
Purdue, Michigan State, Ohio State and Illinois: $50 for sideline seats; $30 end zone seats are available for Purdue, Michigan State and Illinois only.

Group Tickets: Plan a group outing to a Wildcat football game and you will receive a discount off the single-game ticket price. Plus, all group leaders will receive a personalized NU replica jersey and they will be entered into a drawing for four tickets to the NU-Ohio State game on November 11. The group will receive a welcome message on the videoboard, a Wildcat souvenir and 10 gameday programs.

All groups must have at least 50 people to be eligible for the discount. Eastern Michigan and New Hampshire: $15 for sideline seats; Purdue, Michigan State and Illinois: $25 for sideline seats.

To get ready for the 2006 football season, be sure to mark April 22 on your calendar!
April 22 at Noon -- Football Spring Game, presented by Yellow Book USA. Arrive early to stop by for games, food and music at Wildcat Alley (just north of Ryan Field). Plus, hear Coach Walker speak before the game. Plus, all children in eighth grade and under will be invited on the field before the game to Stretch with the 'Cats. The first 500 kids on the field will receive the 2006 "I Stretched with the 'Cats" t-shirt! All activities are weather permitting.

April 22 is also the season ticket renewal deadline, so log on to NU Season Tickets to renew your tickets and be entered to win great prizes compliments of Northwestern Athletics.
