EVANSTON, Ill. - Freezing temperatures and snow flurries in the Evanston area have caused baseball officials to cancel Northwestern's game vs. Chicago State Wednesday afternoon. The nine-inning affair was set to begin at 3 p.m. at NU's Rocky Miller Park but temperatures in the low-30s were deemed too cold for play. The game has been rescheduled for Monday, May 7 at 3 p.m.

NU is next in action when it travels to Bloomington, Ind., for a four-game conference series versus Indiana University this weekend. Game one is set for 3 p.m. Friday afternoon at Indiana's Sembower Field (2,250).
