Sports Marketing Club

Sports Marketing Club
Members of the 2006-07 Sports Marketing Club took in a White Sox game in style as guests of Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Brooks Boyer. Boyer stopped into the suite on gameday to talk about his career and to give advice to the students. One member who attended the game even landed an internship with the White Sox this year!

Interested in a career in college athletics?
Want hands-on marketing experience?
Would you like to be a part of the Athletic Department?

Northwestern Athletics' Sports Marketing Club has MANY opportunities for students interested in getting real marketing experience and being a part of Wildcat sports.

The club is set up on a time commitment tier system with responsibilities ranging from gameday help to full marketing responsibilities for a sport. Sports and projects are usually seasonal, so students can be involved in the only the fall, winter, spring or all three.

This club can be a huge resume builder for anyone interested in marketing, and especially sports marketing. Another benefit to being in the club is that we have the inside track on internship and job openings in college athletics and pass all of those on to members of our club. Plus, you get a real inside look on how athletic departments are run.

The club also meets once per month to discuss ideas and hear from athletic department officials on what they do in their jobs as well as other sports marketing professionals in Chicago.

We will be accepting applications on a rolling basis throughout the year. To apply, please fill out and submit the application below to Beth Cunningham at e-cunningham2@northwestern.edu.
