2008 Spring Scout Days Flyer
Wildcat Alley: In memory of former Wildcat coach Randy Walker, join fans and the NU Marching Band 2.5 hours before every home football game on Walker Way to greet the team when they arrive at the stadium. Walker Terrace: Take a break from the action by stopping by Walker Terrace in the north end zone for a mini-Wildcat Alley featuring games, food, giveaways, Wildcat coaches and much more! It's a great view of the game for non-stop entertainment. Chipotle Challenge: Make your way up to Walker Terrace at halftime of the game for your chance to take on Wildcat coaches in the Chipotle Challenge. Fans who beat the coaches in the bean bag toss will receive a free burrito coupon compliments of Chipotle in Evanston! City of Evanston Employees and members of the Evanston Chamber of Commerce and the North Shore Convention and Visitor's Bureau who receive the official flyer can purchase tickets for only $18. Advanced purchase only. September 13 vs. Southern Illinois ~ Take A Kid to the Game Day/Heroes' Day/WGN Radio Day/Band Day Take A Kid to the Game Day - Two children (8th grade and under) admitted FREE with each adult ticket purchased at regular price! That's less than $9 per person! Offer valid on day of game only and may not be combined with any other offer. Heroes' Day - All identified armed service and public safety officials and their families admitted free. Offer valid day of game only. October 11 vs. Michigan State ~ Scout Day Scout Troops can purchase sideline seats at half-price ($25)! Plus, all members will receive the official Scout Day patch, will have a welcome message on the videoboard, will take part in scout activities during the game and the troop that brings the largest group to the game will have its picture taken on the field during the game! November 22 vs. Illinois ~ Youth Football Day/U.S. Cellular Day Youth football teams can purchase half-price tickets ($25), will have their team included in the welcome message on the videoboard and the team that brings the largest group will have its picture taken on the field during the game. Sunday, March 30 vs. Vanderbilt at 1 p.m. ~ Wildcat Kids' Club Day The first 500 fans will receive purple U.S. Cellular beads. Northwestern students can bring a t-shirt with another college's name or logo on it and swap it for a new purple Northwestern t-shirt compliments of U.S. Cellular. Plus, one NU student will win a FREE Motorola RAZR. Friday, April 18 vs. Johns Hopkins at 7 p.m. ~ Wildcat Women's Sports Weekend / Chipotle BIG Game The first 100 fans will receive a Wildcat Women's Sports Weekend t-shirt. The first 50 Northwestern students will receive a FREE Chipotle burrito and one student will win a quarter supply of Chipotle burrito coupons. Sunday, April 20 vs. North Carolina at 1 p.m. ~ Scout Day / Senior Day All boy and girl scouts and their parents will receive $2 admission when they show their scout sash or apparel. Scouts that arrive before 12:45 p.m. will be allowed on the field for starting line-ups and the national anthem. All scouts that participate in the halftime contest will receive the official 2008 Wildcat Athletics Scout Patch. One Northwestern student will win a $50 Bank of America gift card. Plus, all fans can Create-a-Cat (Willie the Wildcat stuffed animal) for only $25 and the Lacrosse team will be available for a postgame autograph session! Following all Sunday games, fans in the 8th grade and under are invited to take part in player autograph session as well as take their turn at running the bases at Rocky Miller Park.
