Field Trip Day 2007

The Wildcats annual Field Trip Day was held in Welsh-Ryan Arena on Noon on Thursday, December 20. Over 3500 students and teachers took a Field Trip to cheer on the Wildcat Women's Basketball Team. The day was filled with lots of fun for everyone, including:

tossing t-shirts into the crowd during timeouts

free Gatorade for everyone in attendance

a halftime performance by the Pink Panther Double Dutch Team

free jump ropes for all schools

select students winning prizes after competing in contests on the court during the game

dancing to YMCA, the Chicken Dance and more!

Leading up to the game, each school was encouraged to participate in Banner Making Contest presented by Sign One in Evanston. The themes of the contest was Health, Nutrition, Sportsmanship and Staying in School. The winning school was Bannockburn, which will receive a gift certificate for classroom supplies from Sign One and a pizza party compliments of Domino's Pizza.
