Leading Northwestern to 10 Big Ten team and six NCAA championships, Robinson also served as basketball coach in 1919. He invented the game of water basketball, and it became a Big Ten sport until replaced in 1925 by water polo. Robinson was inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame in 1965. |
