Retiring as assistant athletic director in 1974 after 50 years of service at Northwestern, Fisher excelled as player, coach, and administrator. He started at end on NU's first Big Ten championship football team in 1926, and captained the 1926 and 1927 basketball teams, winning all-Big Ten honors both years. |
