Nickname: "Moon" Known to many alums as "Mr. Wildcat," Baker possessed triple-threat skills (running, passing and kicking) that spearheaded NU's emergence as a Big Ten contender in 1924 when the school earned the nickname "Wildcats." Earning All-America honors in 1926, Baker was posthumously inducted into the National Football Foundation's Hall of Fame. |
