Sept. 12, 2007 EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern's Fall Women's Sport Weekend is this weekend, Sept. 14-16, and fans will have opportunities to meet their favorite Wildcats from the volleyball, women's soccer and field hockey teams all weekend long. Volleyball is hosting the Wildcat Classic this weekend at Welsh-Ryan Arena, with autograph sessions taking place following Friday night's Western Michigan match (7 p.m.) and Saturday afternoon's Saint Louis match (2:30 p.m.). Also after Saturday's match, kids can participate in a post-match hit around with the team! Admission is $7 for adults and $4 for youth for volleyball. Women's soccer hosts Penn at 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, and Colgate at 1:15 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16. All kids can be part of the team tunnel for starting lineups, and can participate in a halftime contest, post-game clinic and autograph session after Sunday's match! Field hockey plays host to Kent State at noon Friday, Sept. 14 before facing off with American at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16. After Sunday's match, all kids can participate in a hit-around with the team in addition to an autograph session! Admission to women's soccer and field hockey is free of charge. In addition to the matches, the women's soccer team will be at Wildcat Alley and on Walker Terrace during halftime of Saturday night's football game against Duke. The 7 p.m. kickoff is "Take a Kid to the Game" night, with two kids in eighth grade or under admitted free with the purchase of one adult ticket (works out to about $7 per person). Come out to the game to meet the Wildcats! All kids in eighth grade and under are allowed to participate in the kid's activities.
